EdgeMo Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Panoramic IT Solutions, Ghana (“EdgeMo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and govern your use of the EdgeMo mobile app and related services (the “Service”). Please read them carefully. By using EdgeMo, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use EdgeMo

You may use EdgeMo if you are 13 years of age or older. When you first use EdgeMo, we ask for your year of birth to confirm this. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms and permits you to use the Service. If you do not meet these requirements, please do not use EdgeMo.

2. What EdgeMo is

EdgeMo is a learning and exam-preparation app for secondary-school students. It provides study content, practice questions, timed mock exams, an AI study tutor, and automated marking of answers.

EdgeMo is a study aid. It does not guarantee any particular exam result or grade. It is not a substitute for your school, your teachers, or official examination materials.

3. Your account

• You can start with an anonymous account. Keep your support code safe — it helps you recover your account and get support.
• Your account is for your personal use only. Do not share it with others.
• You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and for keeping your device secure (for example, using the app-lock feature).

4. Acceptable use

When using EdgeMo, you agree not to: - Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive. - Attempt to copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our content or questions. - Reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security. - Upload content that is illegal, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. - Misuse the AI tutor or marking features, or attempt to extract our underlying systems or data.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these rules.

5. Content you submit

When you submit content to EdgeMo — including questions, typed answers, and photos of handwritten answers — you keep ownership of it. You grant us a limited licence to use, store, and process that content only to provide and improve the Service for you (for example, to mark your answers and power tutoring). You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

6. AI features

EdgeMo uses artificial intelligence to provide tutoring, explanations, and automated marking. AI can make mistakes and may sometimes give answers that are incomplete or incorrect. Always check important information against your syllabus, textbooks, and teachers. Automated marks and feedback are estimates to support your learning, not official results.

7. Credits and payments

• Some features use credits, which you can buy within the app.
• All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. You pay using a payment method supported by Google Play (for example MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, or a bank card).
• Prices are shown in the app in Ghana Cedis (GHS) at the time of purchase and include any applicable taxes.
• Credits are for use within EdgeMo only. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable.
• Refunds: Credits are consumable and are non-refundable once used. Because purchases are processed through Google Play, refund requests are also subject to Google Play’s refund policy. If you were charged in error or a purchase failed to deliver, contact support@edgemoapp.com within 48 hours and we will help. Any refund we grant applies only to unused credits.
• We may change prices or what credits unlock. Any change applies to future purchases, not to credits you have already bought.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, design, software, and branding, is owned by EdgeMo or our licensors and is protected by law. Past-exam and curriculum materials are used for educational purposes. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own learning. You may not use our content for any other purpose without our written permission.

9. Service availability

We work to keep EdgeMo available and reliable, but we provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. EdgeMo is currently in an early-access / pilot phase, and features may change, pause, or be removed. We do not promise the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdgeMo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any exam outcome, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 6 months before the claim.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using EdgeMo and delete your account at any time (see our data-deletion page). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above and, where the change is significant, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use EdgeMo after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts.
